CBD oil - contraindications
Hemp products, including CBD oil, are becoming increasingly popular and are gathering a crowd of supporters. The wide spectrum of effects and positive reviews encourage people to buy. However, does CBD oil have any side effects? Find out what are the contraindications to using CBD oil!
CBD hemp oil - contraindications
For the most part, CBD oils do not cause any side effects. They are a safe option for providing the body with a valuable dose of vitamins and will work well for treating various ailments. There are, however, some exceptions to the contraindications of cannabis use. The cannabinoids contained in CBD can interact with certain medications, increasing their side effects. Contraindications to CBD oil occur when taking immunosuppressants, antipsychotics, antidepressants, chemotherapeutics, proton pump inhibitors, clopidogrel, warfarin, montelukast, naproxen, opioids, benzodiazepines, statins and calcium channel blockers. CBD should also not be used if pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advisable to consult your doctor before starting supplementation.
CBD overdose
If you exceed the recommended dose of CBD, you may experience harmless side effects such as increased drowsiness, local irritation if you apply hemp cream or ointment, dizziness, temporary dry mouth and a slight drop in blood pressure. To avoid overdose, start with a low concentration, e.g. 5%, and take a few drops 2-3 times a day. If necessary, the dose can be increased.
CBD dried - contraindications
The most popular CBD product is hemp oil, but there are various options to choose from to benefit from the beneficial properties of CBD. One of these is dried hemp seed.
Does dried, like CBD oil, have any contraindications? CBD dried works on the same principle as the oil. If we exceed the recommended amount of CBD in our body, harmless side effects may occur. It is important not to use cannabis seed if you are hypersensitive to cannabinoids, pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are taking medication, it is advisable to take advice from your doctor regarding the possibility of using CBD products.
CBD drops - contraindications when taking psychotropic drugs
CBD can interfere with the correct breakdown of certain drugs. More importantly, it is not clear whether CBD will enhance or impair the abnormal metabolisation of a drug.
None of the studies done to date specify what is the dose limit at which there is no interaction. Medications whose metabolism may inhibit CBD include antidepressants. However, it is not known whether the increase in concentration can be harmful, and whether it affects the efficacy of other drugs and CBD.
