CBG versus CBD - what's the difference?
The most popular cannabinoids that are much talked about these days are, of course, CBD and THC. However, there are many other varieties of cannabinoids not yet popularised, e.g. CBG. How is CBD different from CBD oils and what are its properties?
CBG - what is it?
CBG, which is a cannabigerol found in most strains of hemp in concentrations of around 1% or less. CBG, like CBD, contains no psychoactive compounds and is safe for the human body. It is formed in hemp as one of the first cannabinoids. Due to its low content in hemp, it is very expensive to produce CBG oils or other products with CBG, so this has a significant impact on the price of the product.
CBG - the body's motor oil
The list of CBG's health-promoting properties is very long. To obtain its best efficacy and spectacular effects, it only needs to be skilfully combined with CBD, for example. This is known as the synergistic effect. Properties of CBG oil include:
- relieving anxiety and muscle tension;
- regulating feelings of hunger and the action of intestinal flora;
- has neuroprotective properties;
- has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects;
- is effective in the treatment of glaucoma, as it reduces the intraocular pressure of the eye;
- it is characterised by antidepressant properties;
- it relieves nausea and vomiting reflexes.
Cannabigerol is excellent for supporting the body's immune system, so it will be especially useful during periods when we are most vulnerable to colds. It is recommended that people with compromised immunity supplement CBG in their daily diet. By doing so, they strengthen the body's protective barrier and reduce the risk of getting sick. The oil will provide energy for action and effectively improve mood without side effects.
CBG for people working in front of a computer
CBG provides excellent support for the eyes. It will work particularly well for people who spend a lot of time in front of a computer. Due to the frequent use of electronic devices such as a computer, smartphone or tablet, problems with dry eyes, redness or decreased visual acuity can occur. It is known that no supplements can replace rest, but the use of CBG can help to improve the condition of the eyes and bring relief.
CBG dried
The effects of hemp CBG dried are the same as those of the oil. It is up to the consumer to decide which type is more suitable. It is worth noting that CBG dried is completely legal in Poland because the psychoactive content is less than 0.2%. Therefore, it does not cause any side effects and, what is more, it can provide the body with sheer benefits.
Cannabigerol has a positive effect on the condition of the skin. Manufacturers often use this ingredient in their creams or shampoos, but if you want a product that is 100% natural, it is advisable to apply CBG in oil form directly to the skin. Vapour inhalation and acting on the condition of the skin and the whole body from the inside would also be a great solution. Remember that a healthy inside is also a healthy, radiant appearance.
CBG dry will also be suitable for stress and anxiety. The effectiveness of CBG on epithelial cancer has also proved to be an important discovery. Moreover, it is the second most effective phytocannabinoid against breast cancer after CBD.
CBG versus CBD - the difference
The difference between CBD and CBG is primarily their chemical structure and concentration in hemp. CBG is found in trace amounts, which is why it has not received as much research and attention as CBD. The difference may also be the price due to the high cost of cannabigerol production. There is a synergistic effect between one cannabinoid and the other, which means that in combination they produce spectacular effects.
