Hemp seed oil

Ingredients: 100% hemp seed oil (Cannabis sativa L.) cold-pressed by the traditional method at a temperature not exceeding 38°C, unfiltered, unrefined, without any additives - all-natural, always fresh.

We press the oils once a week, so you are guaranteed a supply of fresh product. Hemp seed oil cold-pressed by the traditional method, thanks to its chlorophyll content, has a characteristic greenish color and a rich, yet delicate nutty and spicy flavor. It has an optimal fat profile. There is no other vegetable oil like it, whose total content is 80-85% unsaturated fatty acids.

Hemp seed oil is a valuable rarity among vegetable oils. It has an ideal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3, the ratio is 3 to 1. Characteristic and rare in the plant kingdom is the presence of γ-linolenic acid (GLA)belonging to the Omega-6 family of acids. GLA acid exhibits anti-inflammatory effects, supports the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

The most important health-promoting properties of GLA acid are:

  • alleviating symptoms of allergies (eczema, asthma),
  • alleviating symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis,
  • normalization of high blood pressure,
  • blood thinning,
  • supporting proper skin function and hydration[1].

Also important is the presence of stearidic acid in hemp oil, which allows the body to produce omega -3 acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) on its own. The production of stearidic acid is unfortunately impaired in most people, so it must be supplied externally. However, almost no food products contain this acid.

Hemp also contains Omega-9 fatty acids, which lower cholesterol and dissolve deposits in blood vessels. These fatty acids lower LDL cholesterol - the bad cholesterol that leads to atherosclerosis - and raise "good" HDL cholesterol. Omega 9 fatty acids, also protect just like Omega-3 fatty acids, against heart attack and stroke.

Hemp oil also contains many vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D and E (a powerful antioxidant) and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, sulfur, potassium, iron, zinc and phosphorus. It also contains vitamin K, which is essential for the synthesis of enzymes, proteins and affects blood clotting. The oil is also rich in phytosterols.

Use: It should only be used cold. Once opened, it should be stored in the refrigerator. Hemp oil can be consumed in salads, with cheese, on fresh bread, with porridge, with onions and garlic.

Hemp oil properties:

Following the eminent expert in the field of herbalism and phytotherapy Dr. Henryk Różanski, hemp seed oil has the following properties:

  • Inhibits aggregation of blood cells, reducing the risk of heart attack and embolism.
  • Reduces the production of pro-inflammatory mediators.
  • Accelerates granulation and regeneration of mucous membranes and skin.
  • It can be used in a mixture with lime water to treat wounds and burns.
  • Also, for poultices on dry impetigo and eczema.
  • It can be helpful in caring for skin with atopic inflammation, psoriasis and ulcers.

With vitamin A (admixed in liquid form) use to care for dry skin, skin with sores and to treat frostbite. Instead of liquid vitamin A, you can add a little fish oil to hemp oil. Hemp oil has an anti-atherosclerotic effect. Recommended for nail diseases, hair diseases, rheumatic diseases, multiple sclerosis and hypertension.

Take 1 tablespoon of oil orally 1-2 times a day or in cold dishes[2].

Hemp seed oil is especially recommended for adolescents during periods when they study a lot and for children during recovery.
